DAF delivers the first XDC tippers in the UK

UK / Netherlands – DAF Trucks Ltd of Thame, the UK subsidiary of Dutch truck manufacturer, DAF Trucks NV of Eindhoven, Netherlands, has delivered its first new generation XDC tippers in the UK to the construction company, Day Aggregates part of Day Group Ltd. The two XDC 450 8x4s will operate in Greenwich Wharf (London) and will be followed shortly by two identical trucks, which are currently being bodied.
These XDC tippers come with a steel bumper, steel radiator protection plate, two LED fog lights for added visibility and a lower step. The vehicles have a high ground clearance of up to 40 centimetres and an approach angle of 25 degrees which make them suitable for regular off-road driving. The trucks were supplied through DAF Dealer, Channel Commercials.
