Forvia’s new French factory begins hydrogen storage tank production

France –  After opening its new manufacturing plant in Allenjoie, France, automotive components supplier, Faurecia SE of Nanterre, France (a Forvia Group company), has started delivering the first Type IV* hydrogen storage systems to an unnamed French customer. The company aims to manufacture 100,000 tanks a year, for the European and North American markets. Customers include Stellantis, Hyvia and MAN. Since 2018, the company has invested over EUR 380 million in hydrogen technology development.
