FinlandSensible 4 Oy, an autonomous vehicle technology company based in Espoo, Finland, has filed for bankruptcy after failing in its bid to secure further funding for its business.

Founded in 2017, Sensible 4’s original vision was to develop a self-driving vehicle capable of operating in all weathers. To this end, it launched ‘Dawn’, an autonomous driving platform for safely navigating in conditions of poor visibility. Beginning with shuttle bus projects in Finland and Japan, Sensible 4 moved on to a project with UD Trucks to automate a heavy truck at a closed industrial site in Japan.
