Orders for Volkswagen’s Proconve P-8 (Euro VI) Volksbus chassis exceed 500 units since launch

Brazil – Volkswagen Caminhões e Ônibus Ltda of Resende, Rio de Janeiro has announced orders for its Proconve P-8 (equivalent to Euro 6) compliant Volksbus range* now exceeds 500 chassis since the new legislation came into effect on January 1, 2023, with volume deliveries to body builders starting in the next few months.
The new Volksbus range already consists of seven models: Volksbus 9.180 / S; Volksbus 11.180 / R/S, Volksbus 15.210 / R, Volksbus 17.230 / S, Volksbus 17.260 / S, Volksbus 18.320 SH and, Volksbus 18.320 SL – see specification sheet attached to a recent article. An eighth model, the Volksbus 8.180 is the latest model to be added to complete its Euro VI Volksbus chassis line up.
