Volvo appoints Mats Backman as CFO

Mats Backman, CFO of Volvo
Sweden – AB Volvo of Gothenburg, Sweden – the parent company of Volvo Trucks, Volvo Buses and Renault Trucks – has announced the appointment of Mats Backman as Chief Financial Officer and member of the group’s Executive Board.
Backman has served in the same role in a number of Swedish firms, including engineering firm Sandvik and automotive technology firms such as Autoliv and Veoneer.
