Idem telematics launches trailer tyre pressure monitoring system

The idem telematics Tyre Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS)
Germany – This month idem telematics GmbH of Munich (a subsidiary of the BPW Group of Werlte, Germany), launched its own Tyre Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS), providing customers with real-time data on trailer tyre pressure, temperature and other key metrics supporting overall tyre health. Using 36 rim-mounted sensors, which can be integrated into “all commonly available wheel sizes”, the sensors send alerts through the idem app allowing for predictive maintenance and therefore increasing safety, extending tyre lifetime, reducing vehicle/trailer downtime and saving fuel. The company claims that the system works on all tyre brands and in all weather conditions. The system is available on a monthly subscription.
