Lecitrailer, Carrier Transicold and Valx launch new refrigerated semi-trailer

Lecitrailer Evolution reefer semi-trailer

Spain / France / Netherlands – This month, Lecitrailer SA, of Zaragoza Spain, in collaboration with axle supplier, Valx BV of Veghel, Netherlands and Carrier Transicold SAS, based in Rueil-Malmaison, France, launched the Evolution reefer semi-trailer. This zero-emissions semi-trailer is equipped with a Carrier electric refrigeration system that is powered when the vehicle is stationary by a battery charged by an electric grid connection, and when in motion by regenerative braking energy produced by a Valx electric trailer axle, eliminating emissions from the refrigeration equipment.
