Meiller Group successfully pilots new tipper range

Trigenius tipper in pilot testing

Germany – In June, Meiller Group of Munich, Bavaria announced that it completed pilot testing of a new three-way tipper with a customer, Glas GmbH, in the municipality of Hilgertshausen-Tandern.

‘Trigenius’ is the name for the company’s latest range of tipper bodies for 2-, 3-, and 4-axle configurations, the largest taking a nominal load of up to 28 tonnes. Each is made from high-strength steel with corrosion protection, featuring a new design which Meiller claims is lighter than its previous offerings. The company has made a myriad of small changes to the body: for instance, it has increased the number of eyelets for lashing, providing side wall and floor lashing points with a retention force of up to 2 tonnes and 8 tonnes each respectively.
