Isuzu launches Japan’s first CMB-equipped light truck

Japan - Isuzu Motors Ltd, headquartered Yokohama City in Japan’s Kanagawa prefecture, in July launched what it says is the first light-duty truck sold in Japan fitted with a collision mitigation braking (CMB) system, in response to government policies designed to improve road safety in the country.

Japan's Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism is encouraging commercial vehicle manufacturers to make available increasingly levels of Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) equipment in their products.
