KG Mobility to expand Edison Motors’ operation following bankruptcy court-approved acquisition

South Korea  - Vehicle maker, KG Mobility (known previously as Ssangyong Motor Company), has been confirmed by the Changwon bankruptcy court as the final bidder for local electric commercial vehicle manufacturer, Edison Motors Company.

KG Mobility, based in the city of Pyeongtaek, is expected to complete the takeover of the heavily indebted electric commercial vehicle manufacturer - which has been under a court-led restructuring process since January - by September of this year.
