Irizar to unveil hydrogen i6 coach at Busworld Europe

Belgium / Spain – In October this year, the Irizar Group of Ormaiztegi, Spain will be among the exhibitors at the Busworld trade show in Brussels, showcasing its buses and coaches, including its “Efficient” vehicle range. These will include the new i6S Efficient Hydrogen coach, an i8 coach, an i6S coach, and an electric ie Tram.
Whilst details remain sparse at this point on the power source (fuel cell or hydrogen ICE?), the new i6S Efficient Hydrogen coach, is set to have a minimum range of 500km on a single refill. Irizar says that the hydrogen coach forms part of its “future business strategy and technology roadmap, which includes the Irizar Efficient range of multi-technology vehicles.” We will be sure to bring you more details in the lead-up to Busworld Brussels.
