Hyzon completes 15th customer trial in North America

USA – Hyzon Motors Inc, a manufacturer of hydrogen-powered commercial vehicles based in Rochester, New York, announced the successful completion of its six-month hydrogen-powered FCEV trial with the Seaboard Transport Group in Southern California. This marks the 15th North American commercial vehicle trial since the trial program began in March 2022.
Several commercial fleets have trialled the vehicle, including Airgas, Bison Transport, Performance Food Group, Pilot Company, Talke, and Total Transportation Services. Over the course of this particular trial, Hyzon’s FCEVs accumulated over 109,000 km (68,000 miles) and 2,900 hours of fuel cell run-time providing valuable data on fuel efficiency, vehicle durability and maintenance requirements. These trials help the company to improve the fuel cell technology by testing it across diverse road conditions, climates and various applications (drayage, food and beverage, regional haulage, and bulk liquid).
