Mullen begins production of Class 3 battery electric trucks

Mullen Three fresh off the production line in Tunica, Mississippi
USA – Mullen Automotive Inc of Brea, California announced on 21 August that its first production vehicle, a Class 3 battery electric truck, rolled off the assembly line at its facility in Tunica, Mississippi.
The company announced the start of production at the 120,000-sq-ft facility on 10 August. The ‘Mullen Three’ line will be gradually ramped up to a target of 3,000 units per year, with scope to double this figure by adding a second shift as electric vehicle demand increases. Ramp up will carry through to the end of the year.
