Volvo Chairman Carl-Henric Svanberg to step down next year

Sweden – On 21 August, Volvo AB of Gothenburg, Sweden announced that Carl-Henric Svanberg, Chairman of the Board of Directors, will step down from his role at the next Annual General Meeting in March 2024. 

Svanberg took up the position in April 2012. Over the past decade, he has overseen the development of battery electric vehicles, covering every segment under the group’s various truck and bus brands. He gave no particular reason for his decision to decline re-election at the next AGM.
