Ebusco breaks into the airport bus sector

Ebusco 3.0 electric bus

Germany / Netherlands – This month, electric bus manufacturer, Ebusco Holding NV, based in Deurne, announced it has signed a framework agreement with Frankfurt Airport operator Fraport to deliver four twelve-metre-long Ebusco 3.0 buses and an option for four more, marking the first time an Ebusco vehicle will be used at an airport. The buses are set to be delivered by the end of the year. In particular, the buses ordered, come with three doors, a low floor and a battery package of 250 kWh. The 350 kilometres of range should be able to cope with daily airport operations. Fraport has set itself the target of achieving net zero CO2 emissions by 2045 and thus electric mobility will play a major part in achieving that target.
