DICV and Reliance team up to build and trial hydrogen fuel-cell coach

India – Daimler India Commercial Vehicles Pvt Ltd (DICV) of Oragadam, a wholly owned subsidiary of Daimler Truck AG in collaboration with Reliance Industries Ltd of Mumbai on July 19, 2023, displayed a hydrogen fuel cell luxury intercity concept coach at the G20-Taleigao in Goa.

The FC-powered coach is based on a customized BharatBenz coach chassis and powered by a fuel cell system designed and developed by Reliance Industries, using components from international partners with significant localization.
