NetherlandsConsolidated Metco Inc (“ConMet”) of Vancouver, Washington, USA has bought the Dutch subsidiary of electric powertrain developer Saietta Group plc of Upper Heyford, UK, thus acquiring such assets as its heavy-duty motors and associated facilities.

In late 2021, Saietta – then known primarily for its axial motors for light electric vehicles – acquired E-Traction Europe BV from the “new energy vehicle” subsidiary of Chinese property giant Evergrande.
