Germany – At a media event held two days prior to the opening of IAA Mobility in Munich on 5 September, Volkswagen AG of Wolfsburg, Lower Saxony announced it would change its name to “Volkswagen Group” and pursue a design-oriented strategy for future vehicles produced under its many brands.1
