First BrightDrop vehicles head to Mexico

Mexico / Canada / USA - Electric van manufacturer based in Palo Alto, California, BrightDrop Inc (a General Motors Corporation subsidiary) has announced that it is expanding its presence in the North American market with its first order from Mexico. The company is set to deliver a BrightDrop Zevo 400 and BrightDrop Zevo 600 electric van by Q4 this year. The vehicles will be produced at GM’s CAMI Assembly plant in Ontario, Canada.

The company launched in the U.S. in 2021 with its first EVs delivered to FedEx. The BrightDrop EV600 and Zevo 400 are currently in production at GM’s CAMI Assembly plant. A third model, the new EV410, will begin production in Q4 2023.
