DTNA opens new parts distribution centre in Indiana

New DTNA distribution centre in Indiana

USA – This month, Daimler Truck North America LLC (DTNA) of Portland, Oregon (a subsidiary of Daimler Truck AG) opened a new 605,000 square-foot distribution centre in Whitestown, Indiana to expand its parts distribution network in line with DTNA’s aftermarket parts growth initiatives to decrease customer downtime. The new facility will replenish DTNA’s ten Parts Distribution Centres (PDC) across the U.S. and Canada. The proximity of Indiana will allow the company to get spare parts to dealers and customers more efficiently. Ultimately the new facility will help DTNA manage seasonal and sales fluctuations better and will help it achieve its goal of delivering 90% of parts ordered by the next day.
