Volvo self-driving truck at Boliden mine in Sweden

Sweden – The autonomous solutions division of AB Volvo of Gothenburg, Sweden has announced a long-term collaboration with Stockholm-based smelting firm Boliden AB on self-driving trucks in mining operations.

It extends a partnership which began with the trial of two electric trucks at a Boliden-owned mine earlier this year.
