FPT debuts at Busworld Europe as an independent exhibitor

Belgium / Italy - FPT Industrial of Turin, Italy, this week debuts its battery packs and battery management systems range at Busworld Europe (7 – 12 October in Brussels) for the first time as an independent exhibitor at stand number 424 – Hall 4. Owned by the Iveco Group, the company is focusing on battery packs and battery management systems for minibuses and buses. After opening its electric powertrain plant last year in Turin, the company is displaying its eBS37 EVO 37 kWh battery pack for minibuses with an energy density of up to 140 Wh/kg and eight years of warranty. This battery pack will be used on the eDaily minibus and is managed by the eBM5, the first battery management system designed in-house by FPT.

Also on display, is the  eBS69 69 kWh battery pack for electric buses, with an energy density of up to 178 Wh/kg and up to 10 years of warranty. It’s the battery that is set to be mounted on the updated generation of the Iveco Bus E-Way from late 2024.
