Italy / USA – Iveco Bus (a brand of the Iveco Group NV) based in Turin is set to offer its European electric bus customers fleet management software developed by ChargePoint Holdings Inc, based in Campbell, California, USA. The deal between the two companies, which was signed late last month, is aimed at helping legacy fleet (bus) operators transition to electric by providing a comprehensive offering for fleet deployment and charging infrastructure, according to Iveco Bus. The data provided will offer operators information on the status of their vehicles, batteries and charging infrastructure, enabling them to optimise their fleets.

Iveco will also be offering intelligent charging management software and a depot management tool linked to bus operations, expanding the Iveco On Connected Services.
