ZF Brazil holds Sustainability Day with supply chain partners in Sorocaba

Brazil – September saw ZF hold a Sustainability Day with more than 60 suppliers at its unit in Sorocaba, Brazil. The second edition of this event (the first was led a year ago) is aimed at increasing collaboration with its supply chain partners to reduce carbon emissions through collaborative actions and common processes along the length of its supply chains; such actions and collaboration started in 2019 before this formal event.

Tarcisio Costa, vice-president of Materials Management at ZF South America, explained that a team has been established to monitor progress and accelerate actions to achieve its goals. For instance, to be a certified supplier to ZF, all suppliers must use certified renewable energy by 2025.
