Scania presents new electric chassis at Busworld 2023

Belgium – At Busworld 2023, held between 7-12 October at the Brussels Expo, Scania AB of Södertälje, Sweden launched a new battery electric bus chassis, providing a range of over 500 kilometres when driven in “optimal conditions”.
Scania’s new “bus platform” is available with two battery options: a four-pack version with an energy capacity of 416 kWh; and a five-pack version with an energy capacity of 520 kWh. Scania claims that these options provide ranges of more than 400 km and more than 500 km respectively. The chassis will also come in widths of 2,500 mm and 2,550 mm.
