First Fuso eCanter order in Taiwan ahead of 2024 official launch

The eCanter to be trialed by President Transnet in Taipei, Taiwan

Taiwan / Japan - Mitsubishi Fuso Truck and Bus Corporation (MFTBC) aka Fuso, headquartered in Kawasaki City in Japan’s Kanagawa Prefecture, announced in early October it had received its first customer order in Taiwan for the new all-electric eCanter truck, through its local distributor, Daimler Truck Asia Taiwan Ltd (DTAT).

President Transnet Corporation, a leading Taiwanese logistics company, is the first company in the country to commit to the eCanter in advance of its official launch in the country early next year. The company operates one of the largest truck fleets in the country which includes close to 1,700 Fuso units.
