Schmitz Cargobull opens new locations to serve Caucasus and Central Asia

Germany – Schmitz Cargobull AG, a trailer manufacturer based in Horstmar, North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany, has established two new subsidiaries in Georgia and Kazakhstan, with the aim of strengthening its presence in West and Central Asian markets.
Ceremonies to mark the opening of two new sales locations were held at the end of September. One of the locations, opened in the Georgian city of Gardabani, is now the home of ‘Schmitz Cargobull Georgia LLC’, which will handle sales and services in the Caucasus region (including Armenia and Azerbaijan). The existing 6-person sales team achieved a turnover of EUR6.8m and unit sales of 130 last year.
