BYD uses Busworld to launch its first vehicle in collaboration with UNVI

Belgium / China - BYD Co Ltd of Shenzhen, China debuted two new electric buses for the European market at this past Busworld Europe exhibition in Brussels. These new buses joined two established BYD models on the stand: the BYD eBus B19 and the BYD eBus B15.
At the press conference, executives took the curtains off of the new 13-metre electric intercity double-decker coach: the BYD-UNVI Double DD13, which was developed in collaboration with coach bodybuilder specialist, UNVI. The collaboration brings together UNVI’s body design and build technology with BYD’s expertise in battery and chassis technology development. BYD claims that this model is highly customisable and features advanced ADAS technology to meet greater safety standards.
