Brembo launches new eco-friendly brake kit for LCVs

Italy – Brake manufacturer, Brembo SpA, based in Bergamo, Italy, has launched a new eco-friendly brake kit (Brembo Beyond Greenance Kit) for light commercial vehicles (LCVs), which promises to reduce particulate emissions by more than 80% and last longer than equivalent products. The company also claims that increased durability triples the lifespan of the brake discs. Brembo calculated that this should reduce the Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) by up to 15%. This product has been launched in the wake of the impending Euro VII regulations that take into consideration both the tyre abrasion and braking particles.
The Greenance Kit, which is part of the new Brembo Beyond product line, went through all the necessary ECE-R90 homologation and benchmark road tests conducted by the company’s technical team.
