Blue Bird delivers its 1,500th electric school bus

USA – Late last month, American school bus manufacturer, Blue Bird Corp, based in Macon, Georgia, delivered its 1,500th electric school bus, marking a significant milestone in the company’s history. The bus was delivered to the Modesto City Schools district in California, USA, to help the region transition to zero-emissions school transport.
Blue Bird zero-emission school buses serve school districts across 41 states. According to the company, by replacing 1,500 diesel school buses with electric equivalents, they are saving 16,000 thousand metric tons of CO2 annually.
