Daimler delivers first eActros 300 trucks to German logistics company

eActros 300

Germany – Last month, Daimler Truck AG of Leinfelden-Echterdingen, Baden-Württemberg delivered its first of six eActros 300 tractor units to German logistics company, Logistik Schmitt, to be used to transport engines between its logistics plant in Germersheim and the Mercedes-Benz plant in Wörth. Five more are set to be delivered over the next few months.

Set to officially go into series production by the end of this year, the eActros 300 is based on a chassis platform that has been on the market since 2021. Three battery packs with 112 kWh of battery capacity allow for a range of up to 220 kilometres (136 miles) on a single charge.
