Kenworth celebrates 100 years in business

USA – Truck manufacturer, Kenworth Truck Co, a Paccar Inc company, based in Kirkland, Washington, has unveiled an anniversary trailer as it celebrates 100 years of business. In 1923, founders Harry Kent and Edgar Worthington incorporated the Gersix Motor Company as Kenworth, the company has manufactured over 1.3 million trucks to date.

The Kenworth 100th anniversary-themed trailer is pulled by a T680 Signature Edition anniversary truck equipped with a 76-inch high-roof sleeper and the PACCAR Powertrain featuring a PACCAR MX-13 engine, PACCAR TX-12 automated transmission, and PACCAR DX-40 tandem rear axles.
