Apollo launches new generation truck tyre at Solutrans

France / India – Last month at Solutrans, hosted in Lyon, Indian tyre manufacturer, Apollo Tyres Ltd of Gurugram, launched the second generation EnduRace RAT 2 truck tyre range, with a revised tread design, a lighter weight casing and improved materials that the company claims, provide better grip, durability and handling. Available in 315/70 size for 22.5-inch rims, Apollo claims the tyre offers a 5% increase in mileage and a 10% increase in rolling resistance and traction when compared with its previous generation of tyres.
Developed and manufactured in Europe, these tyres sport a three-peak mountain snowflake stamp, indicating the ability to cope with all European weather conditions including snow. The product will go into series production in Hungary in Q1 2024.
