Hyzon appoints new CFO, Stephen Weiland

USA – Hyzon Motors Inc, a manufacturer of hydrogen-powered commercial vehicles based in Rochester, New York, has announced that it has appointed Stephen Weiland as the new Chief Commercial Officer (CFO), effective immediately. Weiland is to replace the company’s interim CFO, Jiajia Wu, who is to transition to the role of Senior Vice President of Finance and Accounting. Hyzon stated that Weiland will oversee all financial operations, including accounting, investor relations and planning. Wiland brings more than 20 years of experience working across various financial sectors having previously served as CFO of Boom Supersonic, an aircraft manufacturer.
Weiland received his Bachelor of Science in Accountancy from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and his MBA from Northwestern University's Kellogg School of Management.
