Thailand / Japan - Isuzu Motors Ltd of Yokohama City, Kanagawa Prefecture, in October launched an upgraded “significantly improved” D-Max pickup truck in Thailand with the new model to be rolled out gradually across the company’s global sales networks in the coming months.

The D-Max’ main production base is in Thailand, from where it is made available in over 100 countries and regions worldwide, including Asia-Pacific, Europe, Middle East, Africa and Latin America. Global sales of the model in the fiscal year ending in March 2023 totalled around 340,000, with sales in Thailand accounting for 180,000 units and approximately 45% of the local domestic pickup truck market.
