Tata Motors signs service contract with diversified logistics operator in Delhi

India – Tata Motors Ltd of Mumbai, has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with diversified logistics company, CJ Darcl Logistics Ltd (CJ Darcl) of Gurgaon, New Delhi, to enhance and improve its day-to-day fleet operations and to explore options for improving its environmental impact or ‘greening’ of its operations.

As per the MoU, the companies are to work closely to make CJ Darcl’s fleet operations greener. This involves implementation of comprehensive annual sales, maintenance and service contracts by dedicated Tata service teams and more streamlined after-sales processes and support. As well as use of more advanced Tata Motor trucks, Tata Motors is to supply its expertise in fleet management using its telematics systems and service network. With Tata Motors assistance CJ Darcl says it aims to set new benchmarks for the Indian logistics industry.
