DAF UK invests heavily into its dealer network in 2023

UK – At a media event late last year held in Oxford, David Kiss, the new Managing Director of DAF Trucks UK Ltd of Thame, UK, (a subsidiary of DAF Trucks NV), updated members of the press regarding some significant investments in the aftermarket network.
As the leader in the UK truck market, a comprehensive aftermarket network has been key to the company's success. With 146 dealer locations (which include 102 service locations) operated by 15 dealer groups, DAF, in partnership with its dealer network upgraded 61 of these service sites over the last two years, resulting in an additional 89 workshop bays. More than GBP 100 million was spent in 2023 on upgrading dealer premises, including the Adams Morey in Bridgewater, Ford & Slater in Stockton and North West Trucks in Warrington.
