AT&T to pilot Rivian vehicles in its fleet

USA – Rivian Automotive Inc of Irvine, California has announced that telecommunications company AT&T Inc of Dallas, Texas will pilot Rivian’s commercial electric vehicles in its fleet in the early part of this year.

AT&T has agreed to evaluate the Rivian Commercial Van to judge whether it will improve fleet safety and reduce costs, in addition to cutting its carbon emissions. The company will also trial vehicles based on the ‘R1’ platform, which include a pickup truck and a 4x4.
