SAF-Holland acquires Dutch truck-trailer parts distributor IMS Group

Germany / NetherlandsSAF-Holland SE, a manufacturer of truck-trailer components based in Bessenbach, Bavaria, has announced the acquisition of IMS Group BV from major Dutch automotive distributor Pon Group, with the aim of expanding its market presence in the Benelux region. 

The IMS Group, based in Barneveld, Netherlands, has long been a distributor of truck-trailer parts, including SAF-Holland components. It also produces its own parts under two brands: ‘SEM Transport Solutions’, comprising rod steering and independent wheel suspension products, and ‘Greensteering’, the name for a patented cable steering system. SEM and Greensteering products are made by Almec in Genk, Limburg, Belgium.
