USA – At the Consumer Electronics Show, held 9-12 January in Las Vegas, Nevada, Mullen Automotive Inc of Brea, California displayed a Class 3 battery electric truck which was fitted with a utility body, a new configuration which is available now to customers. 

The service body, fitted on the ‘Mullen Three’ cab forward commercial vehicle, is the result of a collaboration between Phenix Truck Bodies & Van Equipment of Pomona, California and Knapheide Manufacturing Company of Quincy, Illinois. The upfitted vehicle has a curb weight of 6,840 lbs and a maximum payload of 4,160 lbs. It is intended for urban use by public utilities and local municipalities, with a tight turning diameter of 38 feet.
