UK registrations of LCVs >3.5t grew by a fifth in 2023

UK – Registrations of vans and trucks between 3.5 and 6 tonnes in the UK grew by 21.2% in 2023, according to statistics published by the Society of Motor Manufacturers and Traders (SMMT).

The market for all light commercial vehicles, including vans, pickup trucks, and 4x4s under 3.5 tonnes, grew at a similar rate (21%), rising from 282,139 to 341,455. Registrations of “rigids >3.5-6.0t” increased from 4,787 the year prior to 5,800.
