Mercedes-Benz eSprinter

Germany – On 16 January, Mercedes-Benz Group AG of Stuttgart, Baden-Württemberg launched sales of its updated ‘Sprinter’ and ‘eSprinter’ van models in Europe, featuring improvements to performance and onboard electronics.

The new battery electric eSprinter now boasts a range of up to 440 kilometres, thanks to an updated powertrain with an electric axle and lithium iron phosphate batteries.1 Two battery options are available – 56 kWh and 113 kWh – and a third option with 81 kWh will be released at a later date. The diesel Sprinter is powered by the ‘OM654’ 2-litre engine, offered in output levels of 84, 110, 125, and 140 kW.
