Mack Trucks announces USD14.5m investment in Roanoke Valley Operations

USA – Mack Trucks Inc, a subsidiary of the Volvo Group based in Greensboro, North Carolina, has announced it is investing USD14.5m to expand its Roanoke Valley Operations facility in Virginia, where it builds the Class 6-7 ‘MD Series’.
The money will finance the construction of a 72,000-square-foot extension, which will expand the total size of the facility to 352,000 square feet. Though a groundbreaking ceremony was held in February, building work is not set to begin until April. The projected end date of the project is the fourth quarter of 2025.
