Einride teams up with Mars to deploy 300 e-trucks across Europe

Germany / Sweden / USA – Swedish software development company and autonomous vehicle fleet operator, Einride AB*, has partnered with American food producer Mars Inc, to provide a fleet of digitally optimised electric heavy-duty trucks across Mars’ European network by 2030. The first two Einride-powered electric trucks and electric charging points have been deployed between the Mars Petcare factory in Verden, Germany, and its distribution centre in Minden, Germany.
A growing fleet of electric trucks will operate in Germany, the Netherlands and the UK with an autonomous pilot project scheduled for 2025. By optimising logistics hubs, redesigning networks and electrifying its fleet, this partnership helps Mars achieve its goal of being net-zero by 2050.
