Osram launches brighter LED headlights for large CVs

Germany – Osram GmbH of Munich, Bavaria has launched a new series of LED headlights for trucks and other large commercial vehicles which are up to 230% brighter than the minimum requirements of the ECE.¹

The ‘Truckstar LED H7’ is an aftermarket product for retrofitting to a truck in order to provide increased visibility and safety. This low- and high-beam light boasts a day-like colour temperature of 6,000 K and 230% more brightness, while producing 50% less glare.²
