Indonesia / South Korea - PT Transportasi Jakarta (TransJakarta), the public transportation company owned by Jakarta city administration, said it acquired 100 battery-powered buses in 2023.
The company confirmed last month that 74 of these have already been put into operation, with the remainder set to follow shortly. It also confirmed that it plans to step up electric bus purchases in the next few years, as it looks to reduce air pollution in the country’s capital city.
