Isuzu co-develops autonomous bus service for Hiratsuka City

Japan - Isuzu Motors Ltd, headquartered in Yokohama in Japan’s Kanagawa prefecture, has signed a collaboration agreement with Hiratsuka City and four other parties to focussing on the development of autonomous driving services for the city’s public transportation sector.

The four other partners include Mitsubishi Corporation, Kanagawa Chuo Kotsu Company, Aisan Technology Company and A-Drive Inc. Isuzu confirmed it is committed to driving innovation through digital transformation (DX) to “address issues faced by society and the logistics industry,” adding “Isuzu aims to commercialize autonomous driving solutions, demonstrating that is values align with all five parties that are part of this agreement.”
