Allison sets up venture capital arm called Allison Ventures

USA - Allison Transmission Inc, a gearbox and e-Axle manufacturer based in Indianapolis, Indiana, has established a venture capital arm, known as Allison Ventures, tasked with investing in and partnering with early stage growth companies that drive technology advancements across the CV mobility industry. Importantly perhaps, the new venture capital arm isn't a separate investment fund, but rather it is "embedded within Allison's corporate team." This strategic move is expected to help drive Allison’s global growth strategy. The company has said specifically that it will focus on technologies relating to connectivity, digitalisation, sustainability, automation and electrification.
