ChargePoint and AcBel collaborate on EV charging technology

USA / Taiwan – Electric solutions provider ChargePoint Holdings Inc, based in Campbell, California, USA, has announced a partnership with power supply manufacturer, AcBel Polytech Inc of New Taipei, Taiwan (a subsidiary of the Kinpo Group), to collaborate on product design and development. The two engineering teams have already started working together on ChargePoint’s new generation EV chargers, building on a previous manufacturing agreement. ChargePoint wants to capitalise on AcBel’s 40 years of R&D experience, bringing more efficient EV chargers to market, faster and at a lower cost.
