SwedenScania AB, a subsidiary of the Traton Group based in Södertälje, Sweden, is expanding its battery electric offer, providing more options for vocational applications without compromising on power or range.

The manufacturer is now offering a 6x4 tandem bogie axle configuration, meaning that customers can have an electric truck fitted with a tipper body or construction equipment such as hook lifts or concrete mixers. As such, Scania is now also offering power take-off options (electrical, electromechanical, and mechanical) with the battery electric range in order to power hydraulics or other bodybuilder equipment.
